Welcome to the beautiful seaside resort of Teignmouth. Situated between Torquay and Exeter on the
picturesque south Devon coast. With good road, rail and bus links it's a breeze to get to and easy to

Teignmouth became a top holiday destination in Victorian times when the typical seaside holiday became popular; the Victorian influences are visible through much of the town especially the Pier.
With its historic port on the river Teign and its Long Sandy Beach Teignmouth is a superb holiday location for the young and Old. Whether you want to take you children on the Pier, Relax on the beach or stroll the promenade there is something for every one.
The award winning water play park and newly completed mini golf and multisports area should ensure you little ones are kept entertained, while you can relax on "the Den" a large open grassed area between the promenade and the town. The Seafront is lined with magnificent Georgian Buildings, hiding behind is the busy town Center. The town center it self is on a level location and filled with many interesting shops and numerous cafes.
Situated on the Mouth of the River Teign, Teignmouth boasts some of the most stunning views imaginable, down the river towards Dartmoor, What better way to spend you Evenings than with a cool drink from one of the Public Houses on the Back beach and watching the sun setting, Or you could take the ferry across to the Village of Shaldon just across the estuary and explore the secluded beaches only accessible through the Smugglers tunnel. Brunel built his historic railway through the South West, and one of his finest achiviements was the coastal railway line between Teignmouth and neighbouring town Dawlish. The stretch of railway is on the main Penzance to London line and is a magnificent feat of 19th century engineering. You can stroll along the seawall beside the railway line until the tracks disappears in to the tunnels under the famous sand stone Cliffs.
The City of Exeter is a short train or bus ride away as is the ever popular holiday destination of Torquay, if you prefer the quieter life Dartmoor is about 10 miles away where you can climb Haytor or take a leisurely stroll around Widecombe or just explore the unspoilt moorland.
